Welcome to the 2026 Information in Silicon & Neurons (ISN) Workshop. We look forward to hosting you at the Westmead Innovation Quarter (WIQ) / MARCS Institute in Westmead on 3 & 4 December 2026.
Professor Garrido maps how the brain learns, predicts environments and makes decisions by studying underlying neural mechanisms.
Professor Feng applies principles of biological intelligence to develop advanced models in brain-inspired computing and artificial systems.
Professor Breakspear models the dynamic activity of neural networks to understand their influence on typical cognition and psychiatric disorders.
Sydney's train system is the most efficient way to travel. Simply tap on and off with your credit card or Opal card. Take the train to Westmead Station. The WIQ and MARCS facilities are a short walk from the station.
